Wildwood Hills Ranch
Founded in 2001, Wildwood Hills Ranch breaks cycles, builds leaders, and transforms communities. We are a 400-acre safe haven located 25 minutes south of West Des Moines in Saint Charles, Iowa.
Wildwood is a research-backed, outcomes-driven leadership development organization serving vulnerable youth, veterans, and their families. We make an impact through educational programming, leadership development, job-skills training, and equine-based experiences.
All participants attend Wildwood programs on a 100% scholarship at no cost to them or their families.
The Ranch serves more than 1,000 vulnerable youth, veterans, and family members each year. We make a ten-year commitment to the young people we serve, walking alongside them from approximately age eight through eighteen.
Through our Next Steps Program, students develop leadership, job, financial, and life skills that prepare them for adulthood and help them become engaged members of their communities.

With more than 1,000 youth, veterans, and family members participating in Wildwood programs each year, scholarships make these life-changing opportunities possible. As we continue to grow, expanding scholarship opportunities allows us to reach and serve even more people.
