Story of Summer Programming Session 2

Session two of summer programming has been full of the evidences of God’s handiwork. We appreciate your continued prayers for our staff as they deal with many difficult stories and situations. We also value your ongoing prayers for the youth at-risk that we serve.

This week, we would like to share a letter that a female student named Maddy wrote her mother…

“Dear Mom,

List of fun so far (at The Ranch):

  1. Swimming in a lake
  2. Having lots of friends
  3. Horse Riding
  4. Roasting marshmallows
  5. Skit, whoop, whoop!
  6. Letting God in my life
  7. Getting saved
  8. Worshipping
  9. Riding Sprinkles (horse)
  10. Praying for people
  11. Meeting awesome people

P.S. Can I give your phone number to a really great friend named Beth aka BFF (Best Friend Forever)?”

It is stories like these that give us glimpses of the marvelous heart of a child. We believe in life transformation and we love children right where they are at but we do love them too much to let them stay right where they are at. We believe in investing in educational programming, leadership development and job skill readiness training that educates and empowers youth to be the best versions of themselves that they can be. Thank you for joining us in the journey!
